Return Conditions
- Item(s) must be returned or exchanged within 30 days of the delivery date.
- Proof of purchase is required.
- Item will be inspected upon return.
- RH reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges of items that are not in as-new condition due to damage or misuse by the client.
Refund Methods
- Refunds, exchanges, or credits are issued for the purchase price.
- Any taxes charged will be refunded in accordance with applicable laws.
- Delivery fees are non-refundable, with the exception of manufacturer defects or transit damage.
- Refunds take the form of a credit back to the same credit card used for the original purchase.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Final-sale items are not accepted for return or exchange.
- Special order items are non-cancellable, non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable, and a non-refundable 50% deposit is applied at the time of purchase.
- Items that have been installed are not accepted for return or exchange.
- Mattresses and/or foundations are not accepted for return or exchange once their original vendor packaging is removed. Unopened mattresses and foundations in vendor packaging can be returned within 30 days.
- Monogrammed/personalized items are non-cancellable, non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable.
- Items purchased at RH Outlet stores are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Galleries cannot accept returns of furniture or other large items.
Online / Mail Returns
- Returns can be initiated online by contacting customer service and providing order information (order number, email) or signing into your account.
In-Store Returns
- Galleries cannot accept returns of furniture or other large items. Contact customer service for assistance with these returns.
Damaged or Defective Items
- Delivery fees are refundable in the case of manufacturer defects or transit damage.
- In the event of any defect or damage noted at the time of delivery, RH will replace the item or schedule a furniture repair technician to resolve the issue at no charge.
Price Adjustments
- A one-time price adjustment is offered for purchases made online and in galleries when an original sales receipt or proof of delivery is presented within 30 days of arrival.
Exchange Policy
- Items can be exchanged within 30 days of the delivery date with proof of purchase, subject to inspection and general return conditions and exceptions.
- Exchanges are issued for the purchase price.

- The policy applies to purchases from RH galleries or online at rh.com and used in a residential setting.
