Return Conditions
- Most items can be returned within 90 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange
- Items must be in original condition with packaging, accessories, manuals, and tags
- Receipt, order confirmation email, or valid government-issued photo ID required
- Without receipt: present driver's license — system checks ID against a secured return database
- Without receipt: even exchange or Walmart gift card at item's current lowest selling price (cash if under $10)

- Marketplace collectibles (trading cards, memorabilia): 14 days
- Consumer electronics (TVs, laptops, tablets, cameras, drones, consoles): 30 days — include all cords, remotes, packaging

- Walmart Protection Plans: 30 days
- Opened video games: exchange for same title only
- Hearing aids: 60 days
- Prescription glasses, contacts, eyewear: 60 days
- Trees, shrubs, perennials: 365-day guarantee
- Firearms, ammunition, pepper spray, airsoft/BB guns, crossbows: non-returnable
- Prescription medications (returns only for pharmacy errors)
- Diabetes supplies, pregnancy/ovulation/COVID tests: non-returnable
- Opened breast pumps: non-returnable
- Gift cards, prepaid phone cards, digital downloads: non-returnable
- Gas-powered recreational vehicles (dirt bikes, ATVs, go-karts): non-returnable
- Alcohol, tobacco: non-returnable
- Hazardous materials (aerosols, fuels, lithium batteries): non-returnable
- Personalized/custom-made items: non-returnable after production
Online / Mail Returns
- Log in to Walmart.com or app → Purchase History → select item → 'Start a return'
- Choose refund or replacement, then method: mail-in, curbside, or in-store drop-off
- Print shipping label or generate mobile barcode for Mobile Express Returns
- Some items qualify for 'keep it' refunds — refund without requiring physical return
- Outbound shipping fees and freight surcharges are generally non-refundable
- Cancelling before shipment releases the authorization hold immediately
