Return Conditions
- Items should be in new condition with tags attached for returns due to fit or color.
- Items returned after more than a year, or without proof of purchase, may be reviewed by the Returns team under the Ironclad Guarantee.
- The Ironclad Guarantee does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear.

- Refund to the original form of payment.
- Patagonia merchandise credit.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Damage due to wear and tear will be repaired at a reasonable charge.
- Worn Wear items must be returned in the condition they were originally received.
- Returns for Worn Wear items cannot be made in retail locations or at events.
Online / Mail Returns
- A printable return shipping label is available for $7.00, which will be deducted from the refund.
- The return shipping cost is waived if you opt for a merchandise credit.
- To begin the online return process, you will need your order number and email.
In-Store Returns
- Patagonia-owned stores can accept returns or help with exchanges.
- Bring proof of purchase and the original form of payment, if available.
- Authorized dealers can only process returns for items originally purchased from them.
Gift Returns
- You can return any Patagonia item you received as a gift.
- If you have a receipt or proof of purchase, you will be refunded what was paid in the form of a merchandise credit.
- Without proof of purchase, you will be issued a Patagonia merchandise credit for the last known sale price.
Damaged or Defective Items
- Patagonia guarantees everything they make and if a product does not perform to your satisfaction, you can return it for a repair, replacement, or refund.
Exchange Policy
- Exchanges for a different size or color can be initiated online.
- Patagonia stores are happy to help you with an exchange.
Additional Notes
- You are welcome to return anything that was purchased from Patagonia, including new and sale items.

I just read a post about the warranty, and I was in the store yesterday. I saw them enforcing the policy. I think the liberal interpretation, and a lot of people on this Sub reddit, just telling posters to bring it in for a new one and telling everyone how they got new jackets after 10 years of use,
