Return Conditions
- Products must be in a clean and resalable condition to be eligible for a refund.
- Electronics must be returned in the original packaging and with all accompanying manuals, parts, and accessories.
- For other items, returns may be accepted if items are clean and in good condition, even if they have been opened, tried on, or tested.
Refund Methods
- Refund to the initial form of payment for most purchases with valid proof of purchase (cash, credit card, debit card, and Dick's gift card).
- Store credit for the lowest selling price for returns without a valid proof of purchase (requires a valid ID).
- A Dick's gift card will be provided for purchases made using non-Dick's branded gift cards, Affirm, AfterPay, Klarna, PayPal, exchanges, or where multiple tender types were used.
- Store credit will be provided for purchases made using some third-party marketplaces such as Instacart.
- Returns with a gift receipt will be offered a gift card or an even exchange.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Items requiring gasoline or fuel cannot be returned.
- Airbeds cannot be returned if the package is opened or the factory seal is broken.
- Custom/Personalized/Special Order Items cannot be returned.
- Autographed Collectibles and Memorabilia cannot be returned.
- Trading Cards cannot be returned.
- Gift Cards are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash except as required by law.
- Football Helmets cannot be returned if the package is opened or the factory seal is broken.
- Electronic Scooters and Bikes cannot be returned if the package is opened or the factory seal is broken.
- Face Coverings cannot be returned if the package is opened or the factory seal is broken.
- Mouthguards cannot be returned if the package is opened or the factory seal is broken.
- Ice Rinks and Portable Lavatories cannot be returned if the package is opened or the factory seal is broken.
- Whoop Fitness Trackers cannot be returned if the package is opened or the factory seal is broken.
- Rapsodo items may only be returned by mail; in-store returns will not be accepted.
- Opened Hyperice and Theragun products have a 30-day return policy, excluding refurbished products.
- Pre-owned items, demo items, refurbished items, and Nike Adapt Shoes may be exchanged in the same condition as sold within 7 days of purchase with a valid proof of purchase.
- Yeezy Shoes purchased in-store have a 24-hour return policy. All online Yeezy Shoe sales are final, with no returns or exchanges accepted.
- Bikes generally cannot be returned, with a 24-hour grace period for unused, still-in-box bikes shipped to home and not assembled.
- Firearms, Ammunition, Hunting Bows, Crossbows, Gun Powders, Primers, Rifles/Muzzleloaders, and Black Powder cannot be returned.
Online / Mail Returns
- Online purchases can be returned at any open Dick's Sporting Goods location or by mail.
- Original shipping charges for online orders are not refundable.
- To exchange an online item without visiting a store, return the original item by mail and contact Customer Service to place a new order at the original purchase price.
In-Store Returns
- Items purchased in-store can be returned at any open Dick's Sporting Goods location.
- Bring your valid proof of purchase (original sales receipt) and the credit card or gift card used.
- If you no longer have a valid proof of purchase, Customer Service may be able to send a copy of your receipt.
- Curbside returns are available for credit or debit card payments; cash or gift card payments require an in-store return.
Gift Returns
- Returns with a gift receipt will be offered a gift card or an even exchange.
- If you paid for your original order with a gift card, a new Dick's gift card will be issued for your refund.
Membership & Rewards Benefits
- ScoreCard members can use their account to track transactions, allowing for returns without a physical receipt by providing their phone number.
- Returns where a Scorecard Reward or coupon was redeemed will result in an adjusted refund amount.
Damaged or Defective Items
- Damaged item returns are accepted either online or in-store within the 90-day return policy.
- Dick's Sporting Goods reserves the right to limit returns or exchanges regardless of proof of purchase for damaged items.
- Defective products, if within the 90-day window, should be accepted for return.
Price Adjustments
- Dick's Sporting Goods offers a Best Price Guarantee and will match a lower price from a qualifying retailer within 14 days of purchase.
- The product must be an exact match (same brand, model number, color, size, weight, and quantity).
- Exclusions apply, such as clearance, items exceeding 80% off, 'buy one, get one' deals, rebates, gifts with purchases, and site-wide promotions.
- Generally, Dick's Sporting Goods does not offer retroactive price adjustments if the item's price drops at Dick's after purchase.
Exchange Policy
- You can bring both online and in-store purchases to any Dick's Sporting Goods store location to be exchanged.
- The original purchase price will be honored with the exchange.
- Online-only products are not eligible for exchange in-store.
Additional Notes
- Valid Proof(s) of Purchase include the order number, order confirmation email, original sales receipt, pack slip, or return barcode.
- Dick's Sporting Goods, Calia, VRST, Golf Galaxy, and Field & Stream reserve the right to limit returns or exchanges regardless of proof of purchase.
- Returns may be denied if the original transaction cannot be verified or if the payment method is determined to be unauthorized, invalid, or associated with fraud.
- Information regarding return activity and from IDs (if applicable for returns without a valid proof of purchase) will be held in a company-wide database of customer return activity.
- Items requiring repairs should be returned to the manufacturer or an authorized service center.

So, I've never been refunded a gift card before for an order, so I'm not really clear on protocol here. I accepted a triple order from Dick's that turned out to be fraud. So Instacart removed the batch after I already paid and uploaded the receipts. Support tells me to return the items for a $10 bum

I bought a pair of shoes, Ghosts 14, and they don’t feel the same as a previous pair I bought. I have worn them for a few runs, but don’t they will work out. Anyone know if I can return them? The website says most products are 90 days, but nothing about if it’s been used.
