Return Conditions
- Items must be unworn and unwashed.
- Items must be in original packaging and resellable condition.
- All original tags and accompanying materials must be included.
- The original product packaging (box) must be in excellent condition, without shipping labels, stickers, markings, or damage, especially for boxed goods.
Refund Methods
- Refunds are processed to the original form of payment used for the transaction.
- If a product was originally purchased with a gift card, the refund will be issued to the original gift card or a new gift card.
- For in-store returns without an original receipt or for gift returns with a gift receipt, an exchange or store credit may be offered.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Restrictions apply to a selection of Converse products that have specific written guarantees and/or warranties; customers should read the label, hang tag, or warranty card for specific guidelines.
- Products purchased in-store or from other websites must be returned to the original place of purchase and cannot be returned to Converse.com.
- Worn or washed products are not eligible for a full refund if returned more than 30 days after delivery.
- Returns for boxed goods may not be accepted if the original packaging is damaged or in an unsatisfactory condition.
- If a product returned as faulty is examined and not deemed faulty, Converse may, at its discretion, refuse an exchange or refund.
Online / Mail Returns
- Converse.com orders can be returned by initiating the return process online via the 'Start or Track a return' link.
- Return labels are free and can be printed online.
- Customers should place item(s) in their shipping box, attach the provided return label, and drop the box at the carrier indicated on the label.
- Return shipping costs for Converse.com purchases are covered.
In-Store Returns
- Converse.com orders can be returned to a Converse store.
- For Converse.com orders returned in-store, refunds for PayPal payments will be issued to a physical gift card, and gift card payments will be refunded to a new physical gift card.
- For items purchased in a Converse store, returns can be made to any location of the same brand store by bringing the items, a valid ID, and the receipt (if available).
- In-store returns without an original receipt are eligible for exchange or store credit at the current price, requiring store manager approval and ensuring items are unworn and unwashed.
Gift Returns
- Gifts can be returned as long as the original order number is available.
- If the recipient wishes to return a gift themselves, they may bring it to a Converse retail store.
- Returns accompanied by a gift receipt are eligible for exchange or store credit.
- If a product originally purchased with a gift card is returned, the refund will be issued to the original gift card or a new gift card.
Membership & Rewards Benefits
- Converse members receive free return shipping for online orders.
- Converse members who provide their email address during store purchases benefit from easy, receipt-less returns.
- Members also have the option to download a return label to ship a store purchase back, rather than returning it to a physical store.
Damaged or Defective Items
- Converse stands behind all of its products; if a product has a workmanship or material flaw, support is available.
- If an item is defective or flawed and was purchased less than 30 days ago, customers should contact Customer Service.
- For defective or flawed items purchased more than 30 days ago, customers should refer to warranty information; Converse.com purchases of flawed shoes, apparel, and gear can be returned if purchased less than two years ago.
- When returning a flawed product online, customers should include a letter explaining the issue.
Exchange Policy
- Converse does not offer direct exchanges for products purchased on Converse.com; customers are advised to return the product for a refund and place a new order.
- However, to exchange a Converse.com order for another size or color, customers may contact Customer Service or take the order to a Converse store for an in-store exchange.
Additional Notes
- Converse reserves the right to require and electronically capture consumer information from a valid state or government ID for all returns and exchanges.
- A database of consumer return activity is maintained by Converse solely for the purpose of authorizing returns and exchanges.
- Converse reserves the right to limit returns and exchanges made with or without receipts for any reason.
- If a return label is lost or damaged, a new printable return label can be downloaded online through the order status or 'Start a Return' link, or by contacting Customer Service.
