How to Get a Refund — Step by Step

  1. 1Open the Lyft app and select 'You'
  2. 2Tap 'Ride history'
  3. 3Select the ride for which you need help
  4. 4Tap 'Dispute ride charge' at the bottom of the screen

When You Can Get a Refund

  • Pending transactions are temporary authorizations to ensure payment method works
  • Lyft is unable to provide refunds for rides or reimbursement for lost items
  • Express Drive rental deposits are refunded if no outstanding rental costs, damages, or tolls exceed the deposit amount

Dispute Process
