How to Get a Refund — Step by Step
- 1For a canceled event, no action is needed. A refund will be automatically issued to the original method of payment.
- 2For a postponed or rescheduled event, you will be contacted with the new event information.
- 3If the Event Organizer approves refunds for a postponed or rescheduled event, you will be notified of your options and can request a refund through your online account.
When You Can Get a Refund
- Refunds are only available if an event is canceled, postponed, or rescheduled.
- For postponed or rescheduled events, the availability of refunds is determined by the Event Organizer.
- Tickets are still valid for postponed or rescheduled events if a refund is not requested.
- No refunds are provided for changes in opening acts, supporting performers, or festival lineups.
- There are no refunds, credits, or exchanges for merchandise or digital downloads.
Partial Refunds
- In the event of a cancellation, you will be refunded the price paid for the ticket. Delivery charges and other fees are not refundable.
Dispute Process
- Users agree not to seek a “chargeback” from their credit card company for a valid purchase.
- Live Nation may cancel tickets and refuse future purchases if a chargeback is initiated.
- The terms of use include an arbitration agreement and class action waiver for resolving disputes.
Additional Notes
- If an event is postponed or rescheduled, your original tickets remain valid for the new date.
- If you resold tickets through Live Nation for an event that is ultimately canceled, your credit card will be charged to refund the buyer, and then you will receive a refund for your original purchase.
- Ticket insurance refunds must be handled directly with the insurance provider.
