How to Get a Refund — Step by Step
- 1Log in to your Groupon account on a computer.
- 2Navigate to "My Groupons".
- 3Find the order you wish to cancel and click on "View Details".
- 4Click "Cancel Order" or "Return Package". You may need to click "Edit Order" first.
- 5If returning a Groupon Goods item, select a reason for the return and print the prepaid mailing label provided.
- 6Affix the label to the package and ship it.
When You Can Get a Refund
- For Local deals, the voucher must be unredeemed.
- For Groupon Goods, items marked as "Final Sale" are not eligible for returns unless they are defective.
- For Groupon Getaways, you are eligible for a refund if you are unable to book the stay you want during the available dates before the book-by date.
- For GrouponLive tickets, refunds are typically only issued if the event is canceled or rescheduled.
- If you have viewed a voucher, you may not be able to cancel it.
- Any unredeemed voucher can be redeemed for at least the amount paid for it with the merchant, even after the promotional value has expired.
Additional Notes
- The cancellation policy can be more restrictive than the return policy. For example, you can self-cancel Local deals within one day and Groupon Goods within two hours of purchase.
- Hotel reservations booked directly through Groupon Getaways are subject to the cancellation and refund policies listed in the deal's Fine Print.
- If you are disappointed with your experience after using a Groupon, you may be eligible for the Groupon Promise by contacting customer support within 14 days of redemption.
