When You Can Get a Refund
- Cancellation of refundable fares prior to scheduled departure
- Flight is cancelled by JetBlue with a confirmed reservation
- Flight is changed by JetBlue (domestic change >3 hours, international change >6 hours, or nonstop to connecting/stopover)
- Cancellation of a trip is required to receive any refund
- Cancellation within 24 hours of booking (implied)

Partial Refunds
- Refunds are available for flight segments, seats, bags, and other extras
Dispute Process
- If a travel credit refund is missing, check the reservation of the primary traveler and sign out/in to your JetBlue travel credit account
- Contact JetBlue for additional assistance if a refund is still not received
Additional Notes
- Refunds for fare changes are typically issued as JetBlue travel credit
- Seats, bags, and extras are refunded to the original form of payment
- If a refundable flight segment is not changed or cancelled prior to scheduled departure, all money associated with the segment will be issued as a JetBlue travel credit
- Beginning in early 2026, Customer Bill of Rights compensation will be issued as TrueBlue points instead of a JetBlue travel credit; a TrueBlue account must be attached to the reservation prior to departure to receive points
