How to Get a Refund — Step by Step
- 1Start your return through the 'Order Details' page: Find items in Google Store order history, Select View or edit order, Go to your order details page, Select Return.
- 2If eligible for paperless return, select 'Paperless Return' to get your return code.
- 3Prepare to ship: If returning multiple items from one shipment, all items can be returned in one box with one shipping label.
- 4For printed shipping label: Attach the label securely to the outside of the package.
- 5Use the correct shipping carrier specified on the return shipping label (e.g., UPS or DHL).
- 6Drop off the package at an authorized drop-off location for the specified carrier.
- 7For FedEx: Bring your package and confirmation email with the return code to a FedEx-supported drop-off location and present the return code to the clerk.
- 8Check the status of your refund in Google Pay.
When You Can Get a Refund
- Most items purchased from Google Store are eligible for return.
- Products purchased at Google Store in India cannot be refunded or exchanged.
- All data on the item(s) must be transferred, backed up, or erased, and then reset to factory settings before returning; Google is not responsible for data use or disclosure.
- A promotional code cannot be reused after an item is returned.
- Returns are subject to the Google Store return policy.
- If your bank declines the refund, it may be due to issues with your card or account.
- For Chrome Web Store purchases, some sellers may not offer refunds, and some may charge processing costs.
