I have a non refundable $1800 hotel reservation through Choice Hotels that I will not be able to attend. Do I have any hope of getting money back?

So yeah, I'm in a bit of an unfortunate situation. Had a major trip planned that was canceled, and now I'm stuck with a huge multi room reservation that I can do nothing with. The website repeats multiple times that it is non refundable. I'm going to give it a college try with their customer service

I booked 3 nights (3 different locations) at comfort suites inn. Before booking I was told it was refundable and their site itself shows you can cancel 24hrs in advance (my hotels are booked Oct. 5-7). I'm moving to Texas and was supposed to drive there.
