- 2Click the 'Change or cancel your flight' button.
- 3Follow the prompts to submit your cancellation and refund request.
- 4If you booked through a travel agent, you must contact them directly to organize the cancellation and refund.
When You Can Get a Refund
- A cancellation fee may apply depending on the fare type purchased.
- Bookings made through a travel agent must be cancelled and refunded through the agent directly.
- Unused tickets are eligible for a refund within 2 years from the original issuance date.
- For partially used tickets, the refund will be the difference between the total fare paid and the applicable fare for the travel already taken.
- For redemption tickets (using Asia Miles), a service fee of USD120 or 17,000 miles applies for cancelling a completely unused ticket.
Partial Refunds
- Partially used tickets that qualify for a refund will be credited back to the original payment method.
- Taxes can be refunded for partially used tickets.
- The refund value will be the difference between the fare paid and the applicable fare for the portion of the journey flown, less any cancellation fees.
Additional Notes
- Processing times may be longer if the booking includes interline flights or if additional information (like updated bank details) is required.
- Airport taxes and fuel surcharges for redemption tickets will be refunded to the original credit card used for payment.
- The US Department of Transportation Customer Service Plan applies to flights to and from the United States.
