How to Get a Refund — Step by Step
- 1Contact Celebrity Cruises directly to submit a refund request for a cruise cancelled by the company.
- 2If you booked through a travel agent, contact your travel advisor.
- 3For general inquiries or to discuss cancellation options, contact Celebrity Cruises' Customer Care team.
- 4Be prepared to provide your reservation number and personal details for processing.
When You Can Get a Refund
- Cancellation charges apply based on the cruise length and how far in advance of the sail date the cancellation notice is received.
- For 1-4 night cruises, cancellation charges are: 75+ days prior to departure: No charge (except non-refundable deposit amounts); 74-61 days prior: 50% of total price; 60-31 days prior: 75% of total price; 30 days or less prior: 100% of total price.
- For 5-14 night cruises, cancellation charges are: 90+ days prior to departure: No charge (except non-refundable deposit amounts).
- Non-refundable deposits are not refunded at any time after being paid.
- Cancellation by the guest after the cruise has begun, early disembarkation, or 'no-shows' are without refund or compensation.
All Refund Methods
- Refunds for payments made via credit card will be issued to that credit card.
- Refunds for payments made through a travel agent will be provided back to that travel agent.
Partial Refunds
- Prepaid Taxes and Fees, Gratuities, and Fuel Supplements are refunded if a reservation is cancelled and all cancellation charges have been paid. Otherwise, the balance is refunded after deducting any applicable cancellation charges.
- For CruiseTours, if the Land Tour segment is cancelled while retaining the cruise, refunds for the Land Tour segment fare are made according to a specific cancellation policy, with charges varying based on location and length if cancelled within 42 days of the Land Tour start date.
Additional Notes
- Cancellation charges vary for single occupancy staterooms or for third, fourth, or higher occupants in a stateroom, or for groups.
- Policies may differ if booked with a travel advisor or agency, and specific cancellation terms should be checked on the booking confirmation.
