How to Get a Refund — Step by Step
- 1To initiate a cancellation and request a refund, you must call CheapOair's customer service center.
- 2After submitting your request over the phone, you will receive an email notification with a tracking number.
- 3CheapOair will then work with the travel supplier (airline, hotel, etc.) to request a waiver based on their rules.
- 4You will be notified of the supplier's decision regarding your refund request.
When You Can Get a Refund
- Refund eligibility is dependent on the fare rules of the airline, hotel, or other travel supplier.
- Most airline tickets, hotels, pre-paid car rentals, vacation packages, and service fees are non-refundable after 24 hours of booking.
- You must not be a "no-show" for your booking, as most "no-show" bookings are ineligible for any refund waiver from suppliers.
- CheapOair must be able to secure waivers from the travel suppliers to process the cancellation and refund.

- Credit for future travel on the same airline, subject to airline approval and fare rules.
- Refund to the original payment method.
Additional Notes
- Most airline tickets sold by CheapOair are non-refundable.
- All refund requests are processed in a sequential format.
