Summary

You can cancel Spectrum via Phone call or Written notice. New subscribers (no Spectrum services within past 90 days) may receive a refund/credit for all subscription services if cancellation is requested within 45 days of Billing Commencement (30 days from Billing Commencement plus a 15-day grace period). Current subscribers adding new services may receive a refund/credit for only those newly added services if not received within the previous 90 days. Any equipment associated with the new subscription must be returned prior to the release of the refund/credit. For Mobile Service, there is no proration of the final monthly charge..   1. 1Contact Spectrum Customer Service to initiate the cancellation. For general recurring services, call 855-757-7328. For Internet Service, call 888-438-2427. For Mobile Service, call 833-224-6603. Alternatively, for general services, a hardcopy written notice of termination can be sent to Spectrum at 2 Digital Place, Floor 4, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
  2. 2Return all leased equipment, including modems, routers, and receivers, promptly to avoid unreturned equipment fees. Equipment can be returned to any Spectrum Store location or through a UPS Store (contact Spectrum before returning via UPS).
  3. 3Pay any pending or outstanding balance for services rendered through the end of the current monthly billing period.

Reactivating Your Account

  • Seasonal status allows customers to put Spectrum TV, Internet, and/or Home Phone services on hold for a low monthly fee without canceling and reinstalling service. Contact Spectrum to inquire about eligibility or to place an account in Seasonal status.

Additional Notes

  • Spectrum generally does not prorate final bills, meaning you will be responsible for the full monthly service period even if you cancel mid-cycle.
  • After disconnecting Spectrum Internet service, you can still access your Spectrum email account for 60 days.
  • You can continue to sign in to Spectrum.net or the My Spectrum App for 60 days after service disconnection.
  • If you choose to keep streaming services after disconnecting other Spectrum services, you will be charged the full retail price for those streaming services.
  • Access to voicemail will cease on the date your services are disconnected.
