Cancellation Steps

Xfinity

  • Log in to the NOW Portal at xfinity.com/now.
  • Navigate to your active service.
  • Select 'Pause or cancel service' or 'Turn off autopay'.

Spectrum

  • Contact Spectrum Customer Service to initiate the cancellation. For general recurring services, call 855-757-7328. For Internet Service, call 888-438-2427. For Mobile Service, call 833-224-6603. Alternatively, for general services, a hardcopy written notice of termination can be sent to Spectrum at 2 Digital Place, Floor 4, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
  • Return all leased equipment, including modems, routers, and receivers, promptly to avoid unreturned equipment fees. Equipment can be returned to any Spectrum Store location or through a UPS Store (contact Spectrum before returning via UPS).
  • Pay any pending or outstanding balance for services rendered through the end of the current monthly billing period.

  • Spectrum generally does not prorate final bills, meaning you will be responsible for the full monthly service period even if you cancel mid-cycle.
  • After disconnecting Spectrum Internet service, you can still access your Spectrum email account for 60 days.
  • You can continue to sign in to Spectrum.net or the My Spectrum App for 60 days after service disconnection.
  • If you choose to keep streaming services after disconnecting other Spectrum services, you will be charged the full retail price for those streaming services.
  • Access to voicemail will cease on the date your services are disconnected.
