Return Conditions
- Items must be returned new, unused, and with garment tags still attached.
- Underwear and swimwear should be tried on over underwear, and swimwear returns are only accepted with the hygienic liner intact.
- Only products purchased at Vineyard Vines stores or through the Vineyard Vines website are accepted for return.
- Merchandise purchased at outlet locations must be returned in its original condition.
Refund Methods
- Full refund to the original form of payment or merchandise credit (within specified windows).
- Gift returns can receive a gift card or store credit.
- Items purchased with cash in-store and returned to an online fulfillment center will be refunded to a gift card; retail locations will refund in the original form of payment.
- Without proof of purchase, customers will be issued merchandise credit of the last retail value.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Final sale, Clearance, Whalehouse, or Sample Sale items are not eligible for return, exchange, refund, or credit.
- Gift Cards are not eligible for refund.
- Original shipping charges are not eligible for refund on returns or orders that were shipped correctly.
- Returns for products over one year old may be accepted at the discretion of Vineyard Vines.
Online / Mail Returns
- Customers can start a return online using their order ID and shipping zip code.
- Options include dropping off at a UPS store with a pre-paid printable return label or at a Happy Returns location with a QR code.
- Return shipping is free when using the enclosed pre-paid return shipping label within 14 days of purchase. After 14 days, a $6.95 shipping & handling fee applies.
- Account holders can initiate a return from their Order History.
In-Store Returns
- Most items purchased online at vineyardvines.com are eligible for return at any Vineyard Vines store location.
- Bring the item along with the packing slip or digital receipt from your vineyardvines.com account.
- Merchandise purchased at an outlet store cannot be returned to a retail store or to the online fulfillment center.
- Returns to outlet stores must be accompanied by the original receipt.
Gift Returns
- Holiday gifts can be returned new, unused, and with garment tags still attached.
- Gift recipients can receive a gift card or store credit for their return.
Price Adjustments
- Vineyard Vines will honor a one-time price adjustment within 10 days of purchase with a receipt.
Exchange Policy
- Items can be returned for exchange.
- Return shipping on an exchange is always free.
- Exchanges can be processed by calling customer service at 1-800-892-4982. The customer will be charged for the new merchandise and credited for the original purchase upon receipt of the return.
Additional Notes
- Proof of purchase can be established with a receipt or by finding the transaction in your Vineyard Vines account.
- Merchandise purchased at outlet locations cannot be returned to a retail store or to our online fulfillment center.
- Items purchased at Morrisville, NC, Arlington, VA, and Mashpee locations may only be returned or exchanged at those specific purchase locations, with some exceptions for exchanges.
