Return Conditions
- Products must be purchased directly from TurtleBeach.com to be eligible for general returns.
- Returned products must be shipped to Turtle Beach with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number clearly visible on the outside of the shipping carton.
- RMA numbers expire 20 days after issuance, and products must be shipped within this 20-day window.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Turtle Beach is not responsible for products lost or damaged during return shipping.
Refund Methods
- Full refund for eligible returns.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Products purchased outside of TurtleBeach.com are not eligible for return under the general return policy, with the exception of Best Buy Store Pickup orders, which may be returned to any Best Buy retail location.
- The manufacturer's warranty for defective products offers repair or replacement, not a refund, exchange, or upgrade.
- User errors, accidents, acts of God, abuse, improper handling, or physical damage (e.g., dropped, stepped on, chewed on by a dog) are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
- Extended warranty or service plans purchased through a retail store are not honored by Turtle Beach.
- Refurbished/recertified products are sold with a 90-day warranty period.
- Headsets used for commercial purposes have a 90-day warranty period.
- Replacement parts and accessories subject to 'wear and tear' (e.g., earpads, mic foam covers) have a three-month warranty.
- Replacement parts for discontinued products have a 30-day warranty.
- The limited warranty is only for the original purchaser of a new product and is not transferable or assignable.
- Products purchased as used or refurbished, included as part of a non-VTB product, or from non-authorized resellers are not covered by the limited warranty.
Online / Mail Returns
- Customers who purchase products directly from TurtleBeach.com may return eligible items.
- To initiate a return, email CustomerService@turtlebeach.com and include your order number in the subject line.
- Returned products must be shipped to Turtle Beach with an RMA number.
In-Store Returns
- For Best Buy Store Pickup orders, products may be returned to any Best Buy retail location.
Damaged or Defective Items
- All Turtle Beach products are protected by the manufacturer's warranty for one year from the date of purchase by the original purchaser.
- Elite model headsets and ROCCAT branded products have a two-year warranty.
- The warranty covers repair or replacement of defective components, not a refund, exchange, or upgrade.
- Technical support must troubleshoot a product to verify the defect before issuing a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
- Customers pay for shipping to the service location, and Turtle Beach pays for the return shipment for warranty service.
- Replacement items may be 'refurbished' or 'recertified' depending on inventory availability.
- The defective item must be received and tested to verify the issue before any replacement is sent out.
- Products received with no reproducible problem may be returned AS IS.
Exchange Policy
- For defective products, the warranty offers repair or replacement rather than an exchange for a different item or model.
- For non-defective items, the policy outlines a return for a refund rather than a direct exchange.
Additional Notes
- Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled or modified. However, orders can be returned after delivery by contacting customer support.
- Turtle Beach does not offer a fee-based repair service.
