Return Conditions
- Items must have been purchased directly through Traeger Grills via phone, sponsored event, or traeger.com.
- Merchandise must be unused, unassembled, and returned in the original packaging.
- A copy of the original receipt of purchase must be included.
- All items must be postmarked within 45 days from the original date of shipment.
Refund Methods
- A refund for the price of the merchandise, less any applicable return freight and/or restocking fees, will be automatically applied to your credit or debit card.
- If the original form of payment is no longer active, a check will be sent within 30 days.
- If Traeger EZ-Pay was used, the payment plan will be cancelled upon receipt of the product, and any installment payments, less applicable fees, will be refunded.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Items purchased from retail dealers are subject to the dealer's specific return policy, and Traeger does not offer refunds for these purchases.
- Returns are not accepted on pellets, sauces, or rubs.
- No refunds will be given on merchandise returned after 45 days of the original date of shipment.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
- Return shipping is generally the responsibility of the customer.
- Return freight fees apply to any grill or griddle where the consumer refuses delivery for any reason other than damage.
- All returned grills and griddles are subject to a restocking fee.
Online / Mail Returns
- Customers can initiate a return by calling the Customer Service department.
- For shipping errors on Traeger's end (e.g., wrong part shipped or ordered), Traeger will pay for the return shipping via a pre-paid label or freight.
Damaged or Defective Items
- If damage is apparent when delivery is refused, it needs to be documented with photos to provide to the customer service team.
- Traeger will cover return shipping costs for shipping errors made by Traeger, such as shipping the wrong part or advising the customer to order an incorrect part.
Exchange Policy
- Customers can return their order for an exchange or a full refund of the purchase price within 45 days.

- The return policy details are effective May 1st, 2024.
- Traeger Customer Service is available 7 days a week from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM Mountain Time via phone at 1-800-TRAEGER.
- Applicable fees include: $350 Return Freight charge for all full-size grills and griddles, and $100 for portable size grills (Ranger and Tailgater).
- Restocking fees include: $150 for all full-size grills and griddles, and $50 for portable grills (Ranger and Tailgater). These are in addition to return freight charges.
