Return Conditions
- Items can be returned to the nearest Torrid store or by mail.
- Return item(s) securely packed, ideally in the original package.
- For mail returns, include a completed self-serve return form and place the return label on the package.
Refund Methods
- Refunds are issued to the original method of payment.
- If paid with a Torrid gift card, allow 3-4 weeks for the refund to be placed back on the original gift card.
- Credit card refunds typically appear within 24 hours to 7 business days, depending on the financial institution.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Clearance items are final sale and cannot be returned.
- Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.
- Store purchases cannot be returned by mail.
- International return shipments require the customer to prepay all shipping, duties, and taxes to the carrier (DDP terms).
- For most mail returns, a $6 return shipping fee is deducted from your refund.
Online / Mail Returns
- Fill out the Self-Serve Return Form online and print it.
- Pack your return item(s) securely, including the completed return form and return label.
- Ship via your preferred carrier; tracking and insurance are recommended.
- A $6 return shipping fee is deducted from the refund for most mail returns, unless you are a domestic VIP member.
In-Store Returns
- Bring your item(s) to any Torrid store.
- Provide your packing slip/receipt or show your order/shipping confirmation email.
- A sales associate will assist with the return or exchange.
Gift Returns
- When returning a gift in-store, inform the sales associate.
Membership & Rewards Benefits
- Domestic Torrid Rewards VIP Members in the 48 contiguous states receive free returns on eligible orders.
- International Torrid Rewards VIP Members (including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and US Territories) are responsible for return shipping but receive a partial shipping rebate as a loyalty reward.
Damaged or Defective Items
- Contact a Torrid Personal Shopper immediately if an item is damaged or missing.
- Damaged or missing items must be returned or exchanged within 60 days of the purchase date.
Exchange Policy
- Exchanges can be processed in-store.
- All exchanges must be received within 60 days of the purchase date.
