Holiday Extension

For items purchased between November 1st and December 31st, the deadline to return eligible products (excluding iPhone products) is January 31st of the following year, or the original return policy, whichever is later. For iPhone products purchased during this period, the deadline is January 15th of the following year, or the original return policy, whichever is later.

Return Conditions

  • Items must be eligible for return and refund.
  • Items should be new, unused, and in original packaging with the original barcode.
  • If the original barcode is missing, use transparent bags to individually package items without barcodes before placing them in the return package.
  • Returned items are subject to quality inspection.

Refund Methods

  • Temu credit balance.
  • Credited back via your original payment method.
  • Advance refund (issued after drop-off or instantly before return based on shopping history and at Temu's discretion, with potential charge back if items are not returned or fail quality inspection).

Exceptions & Restrictions

  • Clothing items that have been worn, washed, or damaged after delivery, or have had their tags or hygiene stickers removed.
  • Grocery and food products.
  • Some health and personal care items.
  • Some free gifts.
  • Some customized products.
  • Some underwear orders.
  • Sellers may indicate that certain items are not eligible for returns; check product detail pages.

Online / Mail Returns

  • Returns are initiated through your Temu account on Temu.com or via the Temu app.
  • If you do not have a Temu account, you can use the 'Save your Order' link in your Temu order email to make a return.
  • Select the items you would like to return and the reason for the return.
  • Temu will provide you with a return label.
  • Place all returned items into one package and use the provided return label.
  • Return shipping is free on your first return of one or multiple returnable items for EVERY order within the return window.
  • If you have already returned items from an order and wish to return additional items from the same order, a $7.99 shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.
  • Pickup return method may incur an additional fee.
  • If returning oversized or overweight items or from a remote area, you may need to pay the shipping cost in advance and contact Temu for reimbursement after the items have been returned and passed quality inspection.

Damaged or Defective Items

  • If the returned item is used or damaged, has missing parts/accessories, or is damaged due to improper packaging during return shipping (and this is not due to Temu or the seller), the refund will be reduced to compensate for the lost value of the item.
  • For refunds of missing items, you can apply through the support center by selecting 'missing item/parts' or contact customer service/the seller for help.

Exchange Policy

  • Exchanges are not possible at the moment. You can place a new order and initiate a return for the existing order.

Additional Notes

  • The 90-day return window starts from the date of purchase, not the delivery date.
  • The original shipping fee and import tax are not refundable if your return is not a result of Temu's or the seller's fault.
  • Insurance costs, if any, are non-refundable. The sign-on-delivery fee, if any, is not refundable if the items have been delivered successfully.
  • Temu credit has no expiration date.
  • You may sometimes be offered the opportunity to get a partial refund without returning the items.
