- Items must be unwashed.
- Items must be in their original condition.
- Items must be returned with all original tags attached.
- Footwear and jewelry must be returned in their original branded bags or boxes.
Refund Methods
- Refunds are issued back to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Exceptions & Restrictions
- Items returned after the 30-day window are not eligible for a refund and may not be accepted for return.
- If a discount was applied for keeping items from a Fix and purchased products are later returned for reasons other than being defective, the discount may be adjusted and the refund may also be adjusted.
- If the requested size or color for an exchange is out of stock, a refund will be processed upon the return of your item instead of an exchange.
- Unpurchased Fix items not postmarked back by the end of the try-on period (typically 3 calendar days) will be assumed kept and your account will be charged.
Online / Mail Returns
- For unpurchased Fix items, use the included prepaid USPS label and return bag (or any suitable box/envelope if missing) after completing online checkout within 3 days.
- For purchased Fix items, contact Support to request a prepaid, printable return label if the original is not available, then place items with original packaging and tags in a suitable box or envelope and drop off at USPS.
- For Stitch Fix Freestyle™ items, log in to your account, select Orders, locate the order, select the item(s) to return, and choose a return shipping option (USPS prepaid label or FedEx QR code/printable label).
- All returns are managed through the Stitch Fix account or app.
Damaged or Defective Items
- Damaged items can be returned for a full refund if within the return policy.
- For damaged Fix items, mark the item as 'Return' during the checkout process and place it in the included return bag.
- For damaged Stitch Fix Freestyle™ items, request a return through your Orders page on the website or app.
- If you have already checked out, no longer have the return bag, or encounter issues, contact Stitch Fix Support via chat, text, or email, providing the item name, order/Fix number, a brief description of the issue, and optionally a photo.
Exchange Policy
- Exchanges must be requested within 30 days of your Fix or Stitch Fix Freestyle™ purchase date.
- Items for exchange must be unworn, unwashed, in their original condition, and with all original tags attached.
- Exchanges are dependent on current inventory for the desired size or color.
- Stitch Fix offers size exchanges (same color/style, different size) and color exchanges (same size/style, different color).
- For Fix items, size exchanges can be requested during online checkout. For other exchanges or if checkout is complete, contact Support.
- For Stitch Fix Freestyle™ items, exchanges can be processed through the Orders page by re-buying the item in the new size/color and returning the original for a refund.
Additional Notes
- A try-on extension for Fixes can be requested from your homepage or Fix Checkout page if you need more time to decide.
- If you no longer have your original return bag or it's missing, you can use your original Fix box or any other suitable small box or envelope for returns.

New Fix return options?
Just checked out of my Fix and scheduled a new one. When I did, I noticed I was prompted to select a return method (print label or QR code) instead of receiving the usual bag with a pre-printed label.
