Return Conditions

  • Merchandise must be unworn.
  • Handbags and accessories must have original tags attached.
  • Shoes must be returned in their original shoe box for mail returns.
  • Apparel items must be returned via mail.

Refund Methods

  • Refunded to the original method of payment.
  • In-store returns may be refunded as store credit.
  • Shipping charges are not refundable.

Exceptions & Restrictions

  • Clearance items are final sale and may not be returned or exchanged.
  • Masks, mask filters, and earrings may not be returned or exchanged.

Online / Mail Returns

  • Start by visiting the Returns Center to generate a QR code for FedEx Office drop-off (no shipping box or label needed, but shoe box is mandatory).
  • Option to print a return label and drop off at any FedEx location.
  • A $6.95 per order return fee applies, covering restocking and postage.
  • Returns must be shipped back within 7 days since the QR code or label was issued to prevent a delay in refund.

In-Store Returns

  • Accepted at Steve Madden stores in the USA, excluding Colorado, Utah, and Savannah, GA locations.
  • Bring merchandise in its original packaging along with the order number or email confirmation.
  • Online returns are accepted in-store.

Damaged or Defective Items

Exchange Policy

  • Exchanges can be completed at Steve Madden Retail Stores.
  • For online exchanges due to fit, visit the Returns Center; the exchange item will be shipped once the original item is dropped off at FedEx.
