Return Conditions
- Items must be in new and unused condition.
- A valid proof of purchase from the Steelcase Store is required.
- Returns must be in the original packaging.
- For assembled task seating that no longer fits in its original packaging, return packaging can be requested.
Refund Methods
- Credit to the original payment method.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all non-ergonomic chairs.
- Returns from outside the contiguous United States will incur a 12% return shipping fee.
Online / Mail Returns
- Returns for items purchased from the Steelcase Store can be initiated through the Self-Service Return Portal for ergonomic chairs or a Return Request form for non-ergonomic chairs.
- Free return shipping is offered for all ergonomic chairs returned within the contiguous United States via the Self-Service Portal.
- Once a return for a non-ergonomic chair is initiated, Steelcase will email a FedEx label within 1-2 business days.
Damaged or Defective Items
- If a product arrives damaged or with missing parts, customers should contact the Customer Care Team immediately for a replacement.
Additional Notes
- For assembled task seating that doesn't fit in the original box, return packaging can be requested free of charge within the contiguous U.S.
- If a chair is disassembled to fit into its original packaging, it may incur damage and potentially impede the refund.

Our company has discounted WFH programs with both Herman Miller and Steelcase (Humanscale also). I can get 35% of new HM chairs or varying discounts on a Steelcase. It looks like I can get a v2 for \~750 after shipping and taxes, which is the best I can find given the office liquidators nor Craigsli
