Return Conditions
- Merchandise must be unused, unworn, or unaltered.
- Original tags must be attached.
- Merchandise must be in new condition.
Refund Methods
- Original form of payment with original receipt.
- Store credit for returns without a receipt or with a receipt older than 30 days.
- Cash refunds on check purchases require a 5-day waiting period.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Software that has been opened is not eligible for a refund.
- Select categories of merchandise may not be returnable without a receipt.
- Tickets may be required in select categories.
- Fine jewelry returns are restricted to stores with a fine jewelry section.
- Swimwear and Lingerie must have original tickets attached.
- Used, worn, or altered merchandise will not be accepted.
Online / Mail Returns
- Ross does not have a shoppable online site, so returns must be made in-store.
In-Store Returns
- Returns can be made at any Ross store location.
Gift Returns
- Merchandise returns without a receipt will be refunded in the form of a Store credit or exchanged at the item's current selling price.
Additional Notes
- Ross Stores uses a refund verification system; all returns are subject to system verification.
- A valid picture ID (Driver's License, State Photo ID, Passport, or Military ID) may be required for returns and will be entered into the system.
- Return may be declined by the system.
- There is a limit to the number of no-receipted refunds allowed by the system.
- If the refund is over $50 without a receipt, the store credit voucher will be sent by mail to the address listed on the valid picture ID.
