Return Conditions
- Items should be returned in original condition and in original packaging including any paperwork, manuals or accessories.
- Products must be returned unused, in perfect resaleable condition, including, if possible, in original and undamaged packaging.
- Items that are returned defaced or damaged are not eligible for a refund or replacement.
- Include the packing list that came with your order in your return packaging or when you visit the store.
Refund Methods
- All refunds will be made to the original form of payment.
- Credit will always be issued to the same method of payment for which they were paid for.
- After 60 days or without a receipt, an in-store merchandise credit in the form of a Merchandise Return Gift Card will be offered for the lowest selling price of the item(s) returned within the last 60 days before return.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Furniture and Salon Equipment require calling 1-800-444-7712 for return information; a 20% restocking fee may apply.
- Hair Extensions, Body Jewelry and Piercing Implements, Clipper Blades and Other Blades, and Fashion Earrings are not accepted for return due to health and hygiene concerns.
- Clippers and Trimmers are final sale; refunds or exchanges only issued in-store if unused, in original packaging, and with a receipt purchased within the last 60 days.
- Customized products are final sale and may not be returned.
- Online orders paid by PayPal or Klarna must be returned to the fulfillment center and cannot be returned to a store.
- Items purchased in-store cannot be returned by mail.
- Promotional and free items must be returned with the merchandise they were offered with for a return to be processed; they are non-returnable by themselves.
- Any item without a receipt over $250.00 may be subject to prior approval before a refund is given.
- Merchandise shipped to the fulfillment center not purchased online cannot be returned to sender.
Online / Mail Returns
- Most items purchased on SallyBeauty.com can be returned for refund within 30 days of delivery to the sallybeauty.com fulfillment center.
- Send your item(s) back to us with the shipping label that we'll provide.
- Items purchased with Klarna or PayPal must be returned to the fulfillment center and cannot be returned to a store.
In-Store Returns
- You can return a product to any U.S. Sally Beauty store, whether purchased in-store or online.
- Accepts merchandise purchased at any United States store location regardless of where the item(s) were sold.
- Simply bring your invoice and eligible item(s) to a U.S. Sally Beauty store near you.
- Store purchase and online click and collect orders must be returned to the store.
- Online orders paid by PayPal can be returned to a store for an exchange product only.
Damaged or Defective Items
- In the case of receiving a damaged item(s) or shipping back damages, contact Customer Service prior to taking any actions.
- Shipping is refunded only if the item was shipped incorrectly, damaged, or defective.
- If a customized product purchased online is damaged during shipping, contact Customer Service within 10 days of receiving your purchase.
- If a customized product purchased at a retail location is damaged or defective, contact the specific store where the purchase was made.
- Only malfunctioning appliances can be replaced; if an appliance is working properly, it will be returned to the customer.
- Sally Beauty offers a two-year commercial warranty for faulty products from the date of receipt, excluding faults caused by improper use.
Exchange Policy
- Exchanges are available within 60 days with a receipt.
- For returns between 15 to 30 days (from delivery/purchase), an exchange product can be offered.
- Online orders paid by PayPal can be returned to a store for an exchange product only.
Additional Notes
- The return policy is in addition to your legal rights.
- If you are not pleased with your purchase for any reason, the returns policy applies.
- In case of receiving damaged item(s) or shipping back damages, contact Customer Service prior to taking any actions.
- Retain your tracking number as Sally Beauty will be unable to refund or replace your order without proof of delivery.
