Return Conditions
- Returned items must be in the same condition as when they were received: unworn, undamaged, unaltered and with the original tags.
- Special-occasion dresses and some designer items may not be returnable if tags have been removed.
- Items sent by mistake, with the wrong label, or not meeting return criteria won't be returned or refunded.
Refund Methods
- Original form of payment.
- Nordstrom gift card (if no record of sale or for gift returns without original payment method).
- If PayPal, Afterpay, or a credit card was used with a gift card or Nordstrom Note, amount returned proportionally to tenders used.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Fine jewelry, designer items, and products sold by third-party sellers purchased at Nordstrom are not eligible to be returned to Nordstrom Rack stores.
- Boutique returns must be processed at the store where they were originally purchased.
- Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack purchases made in Canada are not eligible for return at U.S. locations.
- Purchases from third-party sellers are eligible for a full refund if returned by the specified return-by date in purchase history.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by law.
Online / Mail Returns
- By mail: Print a prepaid label or get a QR code to use at eligible USPS or FedEx locations. Free returns.
- In-store: Take return to any Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, or Nordstrom Local. Free returns.
In-Store Returns
- Can return items at any Nordstrom store.
- Eligible returns of Nordstrom and Nordstrom.com merchandise accepted at Nordstrom Rack locations (with exceptions).
Gift Returns
- With a gift receipt, refund may be credited to either the original form of payment or a Nordstrom gift card.
- If returning a gift without a gift receipt, you'll receive a gift card with the credited amount.
Exchange Policy
- There are no time limits for exchanges.
Additional Notes
- Nordstrom aims to treat customers fairly in return situations.
- Nordstrom keeps internal notes on excessive returns.
- If paid by gift card(s), keep original gift card (even with $0 balance) as refunds are generally credited to original gift card(s).
