Return Conditions
- All product returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
- Once an RMA is created, customers have 30 days to return the item(s) to Monoprice.
- Products must not have defects resulting from negligence, misuse, modifications, or enhancements, as these void the warranty and eligibility for return.
- Original packaging is often required, especially for consumable/1-time use items for refund eligibility.
- Certain specially marked products may incur a 15% restocking fee.
- Unless the product is defective or the return is a direct result of a Monoprice error, original shipping fees will not be refunded.
Refund Methods
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- Purchases made with a gift/prepaid debit card will have the credit refunded back to the original card.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Certain specially marked third-party non-Monoprice branded products have a "No-Return Policy".
- Consumable/1-time use items (e.g., disposable batteries, inkjet cartridges) can only be returned for a replacement if deemed defective by Monoprice. For a refund, they must be unopened and in original packaging.
- Bulk items (e.g., networking cable longer than 100 feet) generally do NOT allow partial returns.
- Indiegogo Preorders are subject to processing fees (15% after shipment, 5% before shipment for cancellations).
Online / Mail Returns
- Customers must log into their Monoprice account and select "Request refund/replacement" under "MY ACCOUNT" to initiate a return.
- Guests need to create an account using the same email address used for checkout to request an RMA.
- Customers will receive an email within 2 business days regarding the approval of their RMA request.
- It is the shipper's responsibility to safely pack and ship returning items to prevent damage in transit.
- For defective items where Monoprice requests a return, a pre-paid UPS return shipping label will be provided via email.

Damaged or Defective Items
- If item(s) arrive damaged, customers should contact Monoprice's Customer Service Team within two days of delivery.
- All cases of damaged items are subject to review, and photos may be requested.
- Defective products are generally covered under a product-specific warranty and can be returned for replacement.
- Monoprice will provide a pre-paid UPS return shipping label for defective items if a return is requested.
Exchange Policy

- Monoprice.com will only replace item(s) with the exact same item(s) during its warranty period; exchanges for different items are not permitted.
Additional Notes
- The return period for products starts from the day of delivery.
- Customers are advised to open items when they receive them to ensure they are in working condition.
- Monoprice warranties vary by product; product-specific warranties can be found on individual product ID pages on the website.
- Monoprice is not responsible for any differences in currency exchange rates during the refund process, as all orders are collected in US dollars.

Monoprice, returns and installs.
Someone check my reasoning here. So, I've got a scenario where I may need to order a number a bunch of prefab network cables of as-yet-unknown lengths and colors. I just looked at Monoprice's return policy, and it says: > For Refunds: All returns for refund must be authorized by Monoprice.com wit
Anyone know Monoprice's return policy regarding return shipping on defective printers?
I bought an open box Select Mini v2 which has a defective bed heater. It intermittently fails to heat and/or the temp reading goes to 999. Moving the Y axis can make it start/stop heating and/or go to 999. I know I can fix it, but the permanent fix involves drilling holes and I'd rather not do that
Monoprice Return Policy
After one issue after another, I've emailed Monoprice about replacing my printer. Just curious if any of you have any experience with this. I haven't done any permanent modifications, but I did have to replace a faulty thermistor in the heat block. The issue I'm having now is with the bed thermistor
