Return Conditions
- Items must be UNWORN.
- Items must be in the original shoebox or apparel bag.
- Returns are accepted only for purchases made through the Merrell website.
Refund Methods
- Refund will be credited to your original payment method.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Gift cards and items marked as final sale cannot be returned or refunded.
- Gifts with purchase items cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Laces, lace hardware, and insoles are not covered by warranty.
Online / Mail Returns
- Fast & Easy Returns: Drop off your item in its original shoebox or apparel bag; no other packaging or printing is needed. Find a nearby drop-off location and download your QR code.
- Printerless Return: Bring your pre-packaged item to a FedEx location; no printing is required. Find a nearby drop-off location and download your QR code.
- Print a Label: Requires a printer and packaging. Print your label and ship with FedEx.
In-Store Returns
- Accepted at any corporate Merrell stores.
- Bring your order confirmation email and the original form of payment.
- Corporate stores are unable to process returns or exchanges for purchases made using third-party payment methods such as PayPal.
Gift Returns
- Requires both the order number and the billing zip code from the original purchase.
Damaged or Defective Items
- Defects in original, unaltered, and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered for one year from the date of purchase for Merrell footwear purchased from an Authorized Dealer in the United States of America.
- Damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper care, misuse, accident, neglect, or the natural breakdown of materials over time is not covered.
- Products acquired from unauthorized dealers and aftermarket sources (e.g., online auction sites, liquidators, consignment shops, private sellers, sales samples, promotional products, and final sale/warehouse sales) are not covered.
Exchange Policy
- Free exchanges are offered for UNWORN items within 30 days of when they were shipped.
- Exchanges can only be made for the same product, different size or color.
- Exchanges cannot be made for a different width.
- If the desired product for exchange is out of stock (item, color, or size), please follow the returns process for a full refund.
- Only one product exchange is accepted. If the new product still doesn't work, it must be returned.
Additional Notes
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- If your exchange order isn't received within 21 days of submission, it will be automatically canceled.
