MAC Cosmetics exchange policy on used lipstick?

I picked the wrong brown shade of lipstick during the sales yesterday and wanted to exchange it for a different one. I have swatched the lipstick this morning so it's used. Would MAC accept an exchange on this lipstick? I can't find the receipt or the box 😭but I've got the bank transaction
