Return Conditions
- All returned items must be in their original condition.
- Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
- For most items returned within 90 days, a 50% restocking fee and shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.
- For accessories and decor items returned within 14 days, a 25% restocking fee and return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.
- Customers are responsible for measuring all entryways, stairs, elevators, and pathways prior to purchase to ensure a successful delivery.
Refund Methods
- Credits and/or refunds will be issued upon inspection of returned merchandise.
- Refunds for items purchased with a Joybird Gift Card will be issued to a Joybird Gift Card.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Wallpapers are final sale and cannot be returned.
- Clearance items are final sale and are not eligible for returns, except for documented cases of damage by the carrier.
- Made-to-order pieces cannot be canceled after 24 hours.
- 90-day trial excludes all sleeper sofa mattresses.
- Items moved outside Joybird's 'Shipping Area' (portions of the contiguous 48 states) are not covered by warranty and may void return eligibility.
Gift Returns
- Returned merchandise purchased with a Joybird Gift Card will be refunded to a Joybird Gift Card.
Damaged or Defective Items
- If an item arrives damaged or defective, customers should contact Joybird upon receipt to 'make things right'.
- For damaged items, customers should accept delivery if the item is in usable condition, then contact Joybird to arrange repair, replacement, or return.
- Photos of the damage should be submitted to start a warranty claim.
- All manufacturing defects must be reported within 14 days of delivery.
- Shipping damage must be reported within 14 days of delivery.
Price Adjustments
- If an item goes on sale or is sold at a greater discount within 14 days of the purchase date, Joybird will issue a refund for the price difference.
- This policy applies to items purchased directly from Joybird.com or a Joybird showroom.
- Price adjustments exclude clearance, flash sales, online warehouse sales, or other limited-time promotions.
- Requests must be made within 14 days of purchase with the order number and proof of the lower price.
Exchange Policy
- Joybird does not offer exchanges.
Additional Notes
- Cancellation policies vary by item type and timing: for Made-to-Order, Ready-to-Ship, & Clearance Pieces, a full refund for cancellation within 24 hours.
- Orders canceled after 24 hours but before shipment incur a 15% processing fee.
- Orders canceled after shipment but before delivery incur a 50% processing fee and shipping fees.
- Accessory cancellations are accepted within 48 hours of purchase, before the item ships; after that time, the 14-day return policy applies.
- The 'Buy Now, Decide Later' program allows up to 90 days to choose a fabric; if a fabric is not chosen after 90 days, the order will be canceled and subject to a 10% cancellation fee.
