Return Conditions

  • Returns and exchanges are subject to Interior Define approval based on the condition of the piece and customer account history.
  • Stocked non-upholstery items must be returned unused and unwashed.
  • Stocked non-upholstery returns must be shipped back within 30 days of delivery in the original packaging or equivalent packaging.
  • Made-to-order or in-stock upholstery returns must be initiated and picked up within 60 days of delivery.

Refund Methods

  • Stocked non-upholstery returns are refunded minus a 15% processing fee and shipping fee.
  • Made-to-order or in-stock upholstery returns are refunded minus a 50% processing fee.
  • Orders that do not fit at delivery are treated as returns and refunded minus a 50% processing fee and shipping fee.

Exceptions & Restrictions

  • Pieces that are damaged, scratched, stained, or altered in any way are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • All art items and throws are final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
  • Only one return or exchange is allowed per order.
  • Orders forwarded to Alaska or Hawaii are not eligible for upholstery returns except where damages or defects apply.
  • Define Studios do not process returns or exchanges.

Online / Mail Returns

  • To begin a return, email pictures of the item to support@interiordefine.com.
  • For stocked non-upholstery items, Interior Define sends a UPS return label and the order must be shipped back within 30 days.
  • For upholstery items, a team member coordinates pickup with the delivery partner and the furniture must be picked up within the 60-day return window.

In-Store Returns

  • Interior Define does not allow returns or exchanges within Define Studios.

Damaged or Defective Items

  • Quality concerns should be reported with photos to support@interiordefine.com within 72 hours of receipt.
  • Damaged items are not eligible for the standard discretionary return program and are handled as damage claims.

Exchange Policy

  • Made-to-order or in-stock upholstery exchanges requested within 60 days incur a 25% exchange fee.
  • Exchanges are accepted only for a product of similar value within the same category.
  • No returns are allowed on exchanges.

Additional Notes

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Interior Define presents this as a best-in-class policy, but keeps final approval discretion for returns and exchanges.
