Return Conditions
- Items must be returned in original condition.
- Item must not be damaged or altered.
- Must be returned with all hangtags and original packaging where possible.
- Merchandise that is used or in unsellable condition will not be accepted for refund, store credit or exchange.
Refund Methods
- Original form of tender with a register receipt within 30 days.
- Store credit for returns with receipts over 30 days, with a gift receipt, or without a receipt.
- A 10-day period is required for a cash refund on check purchases.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Gift cards are not returnable.
- Cosmetic items must not be opened or used.
- Items marked as final sale cannot be returned.
- Items over $1,000, handbags over $499, and long occasion gowns purchased online cannot be returned in-store.
- Returns with receipts over 30 days or without a receipt (but otherwise eligible) will receive store credit only.
- Swimwear and intimate apparel require tickets properly attached to the merchandise.
Online / Mail Returns
- Online purchases can be returned by mail or in-store within 40 days of purchase.
In-Store Returns
- Merchandise purchased in-store can be returned to any open HomeGoods store within 30 days of purchase.
Gift Returns
- Gift receipts are valid for store credit only.
Additional Notes
- A valid government issued photo ID, name, address, and signature are required for non-receipted returns.
- Returns may be limited or declined based upon their refund verification system.
- Email receipts are accepted.
- Customer signature may be required for returns (both with and without receipt).
