Return Conditions
- Items must be in their original, brand-new condition, with no signs of wear or use.
- All original packaging, manuals, warranties, and accessories must be included.
- Returns missing original components or showing wear may be subject to a return handling charge.
Refund Methods
- Full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping and handling charges.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Recording devices, DJ equipment, workstation keyboards, rack signal processors, and lighting/fog machines must be returned within 14 days of purchase.
- Vintage instruments must be returned within 3 days of purchase.
- Non-returnable items include clearance items, discontinued items, Apple hardware, computers, opened software, books, CDs, videos, and more.
- Woodwind and brass instruments incur a $10.00 sanitization fee.
- Returned bows have a $4.00 restocking fee.
- Mouthpieces for instruments over $300 have an $8.00 sanitization fee, while those for instruments under $300 have a $4.00 fee.
- Opened Apple products are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
Online / Mail Returns
- Online purchases can be returned to any Guitar Center store to avoid return shipping fees.
- To return by mail, you must obtain a return authorization code by calling 1-866-498-7882 or emailing service@guitarcenter.com.
- You are responsible for return shipping and handling charges for mailed returns.
In-Store Returns
- Items purchased in-store or online can be returned to any Guitar Center store.
- Bring a copy of your order confirmation email or the packing slip.
- Credit will be issued immediately for in-store returns.
Additional Notes
- Refunds are for the product value only and exclude shipping and handling charges.
- Guitar Center reserves the right to limit or suspend return privileges for customers who abuse the return policy.
