Return Conditions
- Items, particularly accessories, must be in like-new condition.
- For mattress re-selection, cost differences between the original and re-selected mattress will be charged or credited.
- Delivery costs for mattress exchanges are the responsibility of the customer.
- Products are not guaranteed against normal wear and tear, abuse, neglect, or damage from improper use, care, or storage.
Refund Methods
- Refunds for credit card payments are credited back to the original credit card.
- Cash, check, traveler's check, or money order payments are refunded via corporate check.
- If paid with financing, the finance company will be refunded.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Once furniture has been delivered and accepted, it typically cannot be returned, with returns limited to specific cases.
- Foundations and adjustable bases cannot be refunded, returned, or exchanged.
- Merchandise purchased from Bob's Outlet that is not brand-new or factory-fresh is sold 'as-is' and is excluded from any exchange, warranty, refund, return, or service.
- Outlet & Freedom Lift mattresses are excluded from the comfort trial period.
- Custom orders may have different return exceptions.
Online / Mail Returns
- Items shipped by FedEx, UPS, or directly from the factory can be returned within 3 days of receipt, with return shipping costs deducted from the refund.
- Orders shipped by FedEx, UPS, or directly from the factory can be canceled until the item ships.
Damaged or Defective Items
- A 1-year limited warranty covers regular-priced furniture against factory defects from the original receipt date.
- For factory defects within the 1-year warranty period, in-home service will be arranged.
- If furniture arrives with visible damage, defects, or does not match the order, initiate a return or exchange immediately upon delivery by contacting Customer Support.
- Concealed damage should be reported within 24 hours of delivery by contacting Customer Support with order number and photos.
- If issues develop after delivery, Customer Support will assess for return, repair, or replacement, often requesting photos and a detailed description.
- In-home service is available for a fee outside of the 1-year warranty period.
Exchange Policy
- Mattresses offer a one-time re-selection within 90 days of the original receipt date after a 30-day trial, with delivery costs for exchanges being the customer's responsibility.
- If furniture arrives with visible damage, defects, or is incorrect, an exchange can be initiated immediately upon delivery.
Additional Notes
- Customers can cancel their order for a full refund at any time before delivery or pickup.
- The standard limited warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship failures under normal use for one year.
- Damage from accidents or misuse is not covered by the warranty.
- Additional factory warranties may apply to mattresses, foundations, and motion furniture.
