Return Conditions
- Returns are only eligible at the original purchase company; products bought from Avocado's retail stores or website must be returned directly to Avocado.
- Mattresses must be kept in suitable condition, free from excessive stains, tears, odors, or soiling, preferably with a mattress protector, during the trial period.
- Furniture must be returned in like-new condition with no signs of use, damage, or wear; items that have been installed, modified, or altered are not eligible.
- Bedding, pillows, protectors, and throws that are stained, unsanitary, or damaged are not eligible for return.
Refund Methods
- Original payment method (for eligible returns).
- Replacement (for verified manufacturing defects).
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Adjustable bases (including Eco Adjustable Bed Bases) are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Floor models, accessories, dog bed frames, and items marked as Clearance, discontinued, Final Sale, or discounted by more than 50% are final sale.
- A 20% restocking fee applies to all returnable furniture, but this fee is waived for exchanges of equal or greater value.
- A $99 return fee applies to Green, Vegan, Extra Firm, Wool, Organic Luxury, Latex, Eco Organic, and Eco Organic Kids Mattresses. A 10% return fee applies to Grand Luxe Mattresses and Grand Luxe Mattress Toppers.
- Shipping fees and optional in-home setup services are non-refundable.
Online / Mail Returns
- To initiate a mattress, foundation, or mattress topper return, customers must contact Avocado Support.
- To initiate a return for bedding, pillows, protectors, and throws, customers should visit the online Return Center.
- For furniture returns, detailed instructions and approved carriers will be provided upon initiating the return; items must be shipped to their designated warehouse.
Damaged or Defective Items
- If furniture arrives damaged, customers must contact Avocado within 3 days of delivery to arrange a repair, replacement, or return.
- Returns due to verified manufacturing defects are eligible for a full refund or replacement, including shipping fees, under warranty.
- Avocado adjustable bases are covered under warranty for manufacturing defects: 2 years full coverage, 15 years prorated for electronic components, and 20 years for the steel frame.
Exchange Policy
- Restocking fees for furniture are waived for exchanges of equal or greater value.
- Adjustable bases cannot be exchanged.
Additional Notes
- The return policy varies by product and is limited to Avocado's service area within the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska.
- There are maximum allowed quantities per household for certain products, such as 1 mattress, 1 foundation, 1 metal bed frame, 1 mattress topper, 1 item of furniture, 2 adult pillows, and 1 of most bedding items.

Happy Monday! Long time reader, first time poster. Amerisleep has been giving us the runaround on refunding our mattress purchase. We bought the AS3 California King. Off-gassing was intense, despite claims their material minimizes odor. It was the strongest I've experienced, even compared to cheaper
