How to Get a Refund — Step by Step

  1. 1Sign into your SHEIN User Account.
  2. 2Go to 'My Orders' and find the order containing the item(s) you wish to return.
  3. 3Click the 'Return Item' button, select the item(s) to return, indicate the reason, and click 'Next Step.'
  4. 4Select the 'Return Method' and 'Refund Method', then click 'Submit'.
  5. 5Package the item securely and ship it back using the provided return label (if applicable).

When You Can Get a Refund

  • Items must be returned within 30 days from the delivery date.
  • Items must be in new, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and unaltered condition.
  • Original tags must be attached and the hygiene sticker (if applicable) intact.
  • Non-returnable items include bodysuits, lingerie, underwear, jewelry, beauty products, accessories, pet products, event & party supplies, DIY supplies, free gifts, customized items, and clearance/final sale items.
  • Electronics must be returned in new, unused, inactivated condition, in their original packaging with all accessories and manuals. Personal information must be erased from electronics before returning.

Partial Refunds

  • If only part of an order is returned, a refund will be issued for those items only.
  • Reasons for receiving less than the original refund amount may include bank commission fees, exchange rate changes, and refunds being used to deduct installment fees.
  • For installment orders, if subsequent installments have not been paid, the invoice will be updated based on returned items, which may eliminate or reduce installment costs.

Dispute Process

  • If a faulty or damaged item is received, contact Customer Service within 180 days from the order date for investigation and solution.
  • If a refund is not received within the standard timeframe, use the Acquirer Reference Number (ARN) provided by Shein to contact your bank for status updates.

Additional Notes

  • The first return for each order is free. For any additional return(s) from the same order, a $7.99 shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.
  • In certain cases, Shein reserves the right to issue a refund for an item without requiring its return.
  • Do not return the package directly to the sender's address on your original package, as this is not the actual return address and may affect your refund.
  • If an order paid by SHEIN Gift Card is refunded, the refund will be returned to the Gift Card by default.
  • For Cash on Delivery orders, refunds are issued to the SHEIN Wallet and cannot be withdrawn to the original payment method.
