How to Get a Refund — Step by Step
- 1Submit a written cancellation request.
- 2For bookings made in the United States, send the request by post to Holland America Line, 450 Third Avenue West, Seattle, WA 98119.
- 3Alternatively, email the request to Hal_Reservations@HollandAmerica.com.
When You Can Get a Refund
- Specially priced promotions may be 100% non-refundable from the point of payment.
- If you booked travel through other operators, you are responsible for any cancellation fees imposed by those companies.
- Name changes and departure date changes are considered cancellations and are subject to cancellation fees.
- Government taxes and fees will be refunded for any cancellation.
Additional Notes
- The entire booking, including cruise fare, fees, air add-ons, ground transfers, and hotel packages, is subject to the same cancellation policy.
- Refunds, except for amounts paid for the Cancellation Protection Plan, will be made directly to the method of payment used to book.
- Travel advisors may impose their own cancellation fees.

Holland America Dispute
We filed a dispute with our CC about our cruise that ended up being canceled. We requested a refund with them and waited over the alloted time since March. Before disputing. They now have taken back our dispute of 2000.00. What are our options on this? Is there anything we can do?
