How to Cancel — Step by Step

  1. 1From your desktop, click 'Admin' in the sidebar. If you don't see this option, click your workspace name to access workspace settings instead.
  2. 2Select 'Manage billing' from the menu.
  3. 3From the 'Overview' tab, select 'Change plan details'.
  4. 4Select 'Downgrade to Free'.
  5. 5Choose whether the plan change will take effect immediately or on your next renewal date.
  6. 6Click 'Continue to Checkout'.
  7. 7Review the downgrade details, then click 'Downgrade Slack'.

Additional Notes

  • Only Workspace Owners and members who have upgraded a workspace can cancel a paid plan.
  • When you downgrade to the free plan, you will lose access to paid features, and message, file, and app limits will be applied.
