How to Cancel — Step by Step
- 1Sign in to your Google Fiber account.
- 2On your account page, click 'edit' under the Account Info card.
- 3On your profile page, click 'Cancel Fiber Service'. If you do not see this option, you must contact Google Fiber customer support by phone, email, or chat.
- 4A series of messages will appear with information about canceling. Click 'Continue' in each dialogue box to complete the cancellation.
- 5Return all rented equipment within 60 days to avoid non-return fees. You can return equipment at a FedEx Office store, a FedEx Drop Box location, or a local Google Fiber Space.
Reactivating Your Account
- If you have a cancellation date scheduled, you can stop the cancellation or change the date from the homepage of your Google Fiber account or by contacting customer support.
Additional Notes
- Your service will be available until the cancellation date you select.
- Your final bill will be issued on the 3rd calendar day of the month following your cancellation date.
- Any prorated credits will be refunded within 10 days after all equipment has been received.
- If you are canceling before installation has occurred, you can do so online through your account profile.
