Return Conditions
- Merchandise must be in new condition, unworn, unaltered, and unwashed
- All original tags, seals, and security tags must remain attached
- Footwear must be returned in the original shoe box without packing tape or postal labels
- Items must be returned in original packaging
Refund Methods
- Refund to original form of payment
- Store credit (including for returns after 60 days)
- Gift card credit for certain payment methods (e.g., Afterpay, PayPal)
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Final Sale items are not eligible for return
- Guest checkout customers are limited to returns within 60 days and refunds only to original payment method
- Returns after 60 days are only eligible for store credit up to one year from purchase
- Items must include original packaging; missing packaging may result in refusal
- Products with evidence of wear, washing, or alteration are ineligible
Online / Mail Returns
- Initiate a return via Order History in the Zappos account within 60 days of receiving the order
- Select refund option (store credit or original payment) and print the provided return label

TIL that Zappos has a 365-day return policy, but if you make a purchase on 2/29 of a leap year then you have until the next leap year (4 years) to return the product.
Avoid Zappos For Any Purchase!! Received shoe on the 7th of sep. returned on the 8th, shipped back on the 9th, UPS and Zappos both confirmed shoe returned on the 15th, no refunds issued until I said something - I'm still waiting. Shoe is forever on "return in progress".
Is it possible to return Safety shoes from Zappos in exchange for a different size?
Got some safety shoes with the credit that they gave us but they are a bit too big, can I return them and get the exact same shoe but in the correct size? And will I have to pay for it myself out of pocket or will they just exchange the shoes free of charge?
Zappos refund
I returned the free shoes you get every year and it says the refund was issued but it isn’t appearing on my account. Anyone else has this issue?
