Holiday Extension

Online orders made between November 4, 2025, and December 9, 2025, can be returned or exchanged until January 9, 2026 (excludes Marketplace orders).

Return Conditions

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and undamaged or defective.
  • Swimsuits must have hygienic liners in place.
  • Merchandise returns must be made in accordance with the company's return policy.

Refund Methods

  • Refunds are made in the form of the original payment.
  • Gifts returned by mail are issued as J.Crew E-gift Cards.
  • In-store gift returns with a gift receipt are refunded to a J.Crew Gift Card.

Exceptions & Restrictions

  • Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Monogrammed and personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Lingerie and underwear cannot be returned.
  • Vintage and altered items cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Marketplace items must be returned directly to the vendor and are not accepted at J.Crew stores or distribution centers.
  • Items paid for with loyalty points are excluded from exchanges.

Online / Mail Returns

  • Online orders can be returned by mail or at any J.Crew store in the U.S. (not J.Crew Factory locations).
  • Start your return through the J.Crew website to get a prepaid return label (no printer required).
  • Return shipping on exchanges is free for U.S. orders.

In-Store Returns

  • In-store purchases must be returned in the same country where they were bought.
  • Bring the item and your receipt to any J.Crew store within 30 days.
  • Refunds go back to your original form of payment.

Gift Returns

  • Gifts returned by mail using the prepaid label will have $7.50 deducted from the refund and are issued as J.Crew E-gift Cards.
  • In stores, gift returns require a gift receipt and are refunded to a J.Crew Gift Card.

Membership & Rewards Benefits

  • Upon the accepted return of an item, the spend amount and Points applied to a Member's account for the purchase will be deducted.
  • For purchases made by redeeming Rewards, if the merchandise is returned, the Rewards will be forfeited.

Damaged or Defective Items

  • J.Crew gladly accepts returns of defective merchandise for a full refund or exchange.
  • If a final sale item is defective, contact customer service with photos for a possible refund.

Price Adjustments

  • A one-time price adjustment is honored on full-price merchandise within seven days of the retail purchase or mail-order ship date.
  • Original receipt is required to request a price adjustment.
  • Items not purchased at full price, or orders placed with a coupon or promotion, are ineligible for price adjustments.

Exchange Policy

  • J.Crew offers free exchanges for U.S. orders.
  • Exchanges are limited to online purchases of the same style number and same color but a different size of that item.
  • Exchanges exclude final sale, marketplace items, and monogrammed items.
  • Exchanges follow normal return eligibility policy.
  • If exchanging for a different item, return the original for a refund and place a new order.

Additional Notes

  • A $7.50 shipping fee will be deducted from your refund when using J.Crew's prepaid return label.
  • Multiple orders can be returned in the same package if returns are initiated for each order and all return packing slips are included.
  • J.Crew merchandise cannot be returned to J.Crew Factory locations, and J.Crew Factory purchases cannot be returned to regular J.Crew stores.
  • For cash purchases in-store, the original receipt is needed for a refund.
