Return Conditions
- Items must be in original condition.
- Original packaging materials, receipt, and all merchandise tags must be retained.
- Returns are only accepted at the Herman Miller warehouse, with the exception of accessories which can be returned to a local store.
Refund Methods
- Refunds are issued to the original form of payment for returns with a receipt.
- Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded as a merchandise credit.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- A 10% restocking fee applies to all items except for Herman Miller branded performance seating.
- Herman Miller branded performance seating is subject to a $99 return shipping fee.
- If the original packaging for Herman Miller branded performance seating is unavailable, a 10% restocking fee will be charged instead of the $99 return shipping fee.
In-Store Returns
- Only accessories may be returned to a local store.
Gift Returns
- Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded with a merchandise credit.
Damaged or Defective Items
- Customers should inspect items upon delivery and report any issues to customer service within 30 days.
Exchange Policy
- Restocking fees are waived when exchanging for a product of equal or greater value, except for Herman Miller branded performance seating.
Additional Notes
- Shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable.
- Proof of purchase is required for all returns and can include an original paper receipt, gift receipt, e-receipt, original packing slip, gift packing slip, or order number.
