Return Conditions
- All returned items must be in new condition.
- Must be in their original unaltered box (including an intact UPC code) and must include all packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals, accompanying free items and accessories.
- If the original item included free items, all associated items must be returned for a full refund; the retail value of any free items you keep, as well as any shipping charges, will be deducted from your refund.
- B&H is not responsible for personal data or items left in returned merchandise.
- B&H reserves the right to refuse the return or to charge a minimum 15% restocking fee if all conditions are not met.
Refund Methods
- In most cases, refunds are issued in the same way the original purchase was made.
- If payment was made by check, the refund check will be issued no sooner than 10 business days after the date of purchase.
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Unwrapped TVs, combos, and monitors 37" and larger are nonreturnable.
- Unwrapped/opened computers and computer software are nonreturnable.
- Electronic software downloads are nonreturnable.
- Unwrapped consumable items (e.g., film, tapes, paper, bulbs, CD, DVDs, ink cartridges, etc.) are nonreturnable.
- Any computers built or modified by B&H to customer's specifications are nonreturnable.
- Special order merchandise or any item indicated on the website as nonreturnable.
- Underwater equipment that has been submerged is nonreturnable.
- Unwrapped educational tapes and books are nonreturnable.
Online / Mail Returns
- Returns or exchanges can be initiated online, by phone, or Live Chat.
- Customers can log in to the 'My Account/My Orders' section, filter by 'Eligible for Return', locate order details, and select 'Start a Return'.
- Guests can look up a single order or quote submitted by phone, chat, in-store, or online.
- An online Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Request must be filled out to start the process.
In-Store Returns
- Items may be returned in person to the Returns Department at the B&H New York Superstore.
Damaged or Defective Items
- Defective items may be repaired, exchanged, or refunded at B&H's discretion for the same model or manufacturer's equivalent model.
- Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be received within two business days of receipt of merchandise.
- Return shipping fees for verified defective or damaged items will be reimbursed.
Exchange Policy
- Exchanges can be initiated online, by phone, or Live Chat.
- Defective items may be repaired or exchanged.
- Please allow 3-5 business days for mail-in exchanges to be processed.
Additional Notes
- B&H can only refund the original purchase price; shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable.
- A minimum 15% restocking fee may be charged if return conditions are not met.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping fees unless the item is verified defective or damaged.
- B&H recommends shipping using insured ground service with a tracking number and is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages.
