How to Get a Refund — Step by Step

When You Can Get a Refund

  • For items not as described from a private seller, you must report the issue within 72 hours of delivery.
  • For items purchased from a professional seller, you can return them for a full refund within 14 days of receipt.
  • If you have doubts about an item's authenticity, you can report it at any time after purchase for investigation.
  • If an issue is reported for an item with Authenticated Shipping, you must ship the item back to Vestiaire Collective for inspection within 7 days of receiving the prepaid shipping label.
  • If Vestiaire Collective's experts find an item is authentic and correctly described after a dispute, it will be relisted for sale on your account instead of being refunded.

Dispute Process

  • If you receive an item that is not as described or have authenticity concerns, you must report the issue through your account.
  • For items with Authenticated Shipping, the team will arrange a second physical inspection at their facilities.
  • After investigation, if the experts find the item is indeed not as described or have doubts about authenticity, the order will be canceled and a full refund issued.
  • If the experts determine the item matches the listing, it will be relisted for sale from your account. You will receive the proceeds from the future sale.

Additional Notes

  • For items purchased from individual (private) sellers, returns are generally not accepted for 'change of mind'. Instead, you can relist the item for sale free of charge within 72 hours of receipt.
