Online / Mail Returns

To initiate a return, click the 'initiate a return' link on Theory.com or email clientservice@theory.com if unable to generate a label.
Returns should be sent back with the return packing slip included in the box (one order per box).
Packages can be dropped off at the nearest UPS location or a UPS pickup can be scheduled.
Returns received after 14 days of your delivery date will incur a $9.95 restocking fee, not applicable during an extended Holiday Return policy.
Online returns are not accepted in Theory retail stores.

In-Store Returns

Theory Retail store merchandise cannot be returned to a Theory Outlet location.
Buy Online, Pick up in-Store items can be returned to a Theory store location or by initiating an online return.

Gift Returns

Price Adjustments

A one-time price adjustment is accommodated on full-price items within 14 days of the order date, only if the item is in stock in the same color and size for US ONLY orders.

Final Sale items and other promotions are excluded from price adjustments.

Exchange Policy

Theory.com accepts exchange merchandise in its original and unused condition, with all tags attached and accompanied by an original receipt, within 30 days of purchase.
Only size exchanges are offered for online purchases; for alternative styles or colors, a return and new order are required.
Gifts purchased on Theory.com may be exchanged within 60 days of original purchase.
Merchandise purchased at a discount of 40% off or more, or labeled as Final Sale, can only be exchanged for a different size of the same style & color, subject to availability.
Exchange orders are processed with the same delivery address and ship method as the original order and cannot be modified or cancelled once submitted.
