Return Conditions
- Most items purchased through catalog or online can be returned for exchange or refund by mail or in-store within 60 days of purchase with valid proof of purchase
- Items returned after 60 days are accepted on an inspection basis only
- Returns can be made to either Bass Pro Shops or Cabela's, regardless of where the item was originally purchased
- For returns made without a receipt (Canada policy), a valid picture ID will be required and an even exchange or store credit card will be issued
- For in-store returns, original receipt or order number and form of photo ID may be required
Refund Methods
- Refund to the original method of payment (with receipt within 60 days)
- Store credit (for returns without a receipt within 60 days)
- Exchange for the same product (if available, within 60 days with or without a receipt)
- Gift card (for online orders paid with PayPal returned in-store, or as a general option)
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Online orders paid with PayPal returned in-store can only be exchanged or refunded as a gift card
- Purchases made at Sunglass Hut locations within retail stores must be returned to those specific locations within 30 days of purchase
- Merchandise purchased from basspro.ca or at a Cabela’s retail location in Canada must be returned to Cabela’s Canada
- Gasoline-powered items and drones are ineligible for return if they have been used, show signs of use, or if oil or fuel has been added
- Gasoline-powered items and drones may be returned in unused condition within 60 days with the original sales receipt, original packaging, manuals, and accessories
- After 60 days, electronics and non-Bass Pro brand rods and reels covered by the manufacturer's warranty should be returned directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair
- Some bikes are subject to a restocking fee
- No returns are accepted on Firearms, black-powder guns, ammunition, black-powder, gunpowder, primers, reloading lead and brass, bullets, binary explosives, treestands, and mouth calls; all sales of these products are final
Additional Notes
- Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s proprietary branded merchandise carries a one (1) year warranty against manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship
- Boats, trailers, and ATVs/UTVs repairs are facilitated within the manufacturer's warranty period
- Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's brand rods have a 1-year warranty, with specific rods (Johnny Morris Platinum Signature, Johnny Morris Signature Series, Johnny Morris CarbonLite 2.0, and Johnny Morris Patriot) having a ten (10) year warranty
- Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's branded boots, shoes, and waders carry a one (1) year limited warranty against manufacturer defects (does not cover normal wear and tear)
- Bass Pro reserves the right to limit the number of returns without a store receipt
