Return Conditions
- Items must be in their original condition.
- Original price tags must be attached.
- Receipt, invoice, or order confirmation is required.
- Cannot return items across brands (e.g., Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister Co.).
Refund Methods
- Full refund to the original payment method.
- Merchandise credit (for returns after 30 days for online orders, or with gift/exchange receipt, or if cash order refund not picked up in 10 days).
- E-gift card (if cash order refund from an in-store order is not picked up in 10 days).
Exceptions & Restrictions
- Products marked as final sale are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
- Returns or exchanges of personal care items (i.e., perfumes, candles) can only be returned in-store or by using the 'Ship it Myself' option.
- Merchandise purchased in-store cannot be returned by mailing items back to stores or Distribution Centers.
- Purchases made at an outlet location may only be returned in an outlet location for the same brand.
- Online orders must be placed and returned/exchanged in a store in the same country where the order was delivered and in the same currency.
- Returns in Japan are subject to a 14-day return window.
Online / Mail Returns
- 30 days from the estimated or actual delivery date for a full refund to the original payment method.
- Can be returned in-store or by mail.
- Items must be in original condition with a receipt, invoice, or order confirmation.
- Online orders must be returned/exchanged in a store in the same country where the order was delivered and in the same currency.
In-Store Returns
- 30 days from the date of purchase for a full refund to the original payment method or merchandise credit.
- Items must be in original condition with original price tags.
- Receipt, invoice, or order confirmation is required.
- Merchandise purchased in-store cannot be returned by mail.
Gift Returns
- With a valid gift receipt or exchange receipt, merchandise credit will be issued based on the original amount of payment.
Membership & Rewards Benefits
- VIP myAbercrombie members receive an additional 30 days for returns/exchanges (total of 60 days).
- To qualify, members must already be VIP status on the date the order was placed.
Damaged or Defective Items
- If merchandise is faulty, damaged, or does not correspond to its description, contact Abercrombie via email or phone.
- Products marked as final sale do not include merchandise that is faulty, damaged, or does not correspond to its description.
Price Adjustments
- A price adjustment will be issued if the price of the merchandise is subsequently reduced within 7 days of the in-store purchase date.
- The merchandise must be in its original condition.
- The original sales receipt, invoice, or order confirmation is required.
Exchange Policy
- 30 days from the estimated/actual delivery date for online orders, or from the purchase date for in-store items.
- VIP myAbercrombie members receive an additional 30 days (total 60 days).
- Exchanges are free.
- Can only exchange for a new size, color, or length of the same item.
- If the desired size/color is out of stock, a return for a refund may be processed.
Additional Notes
- For promotional returns, the refund amount will be reduced if the return causes the original transaction to fall below the qualifying threshold.
- If an order was placed in-store and paid cash, an email will initiate an in-store pickup of the refund within 10 days; otherwise, a merchandise credit e-gift card will be sent.
- Cannot return merchandise that is mailed to Abercrombie & Fitch stores.
