How to Get a Refund — Step by Step
- 1For SONIC App orders with a scheduled pick-up time, access the order confirmation within the SONIC App.
- 2Select 'Cancel Order' at least five minutes prior to the scheduled pick-up time.
- 3For restaurant-specific issues, questions, or concerns about an order, call the Customer Satisfaction Team at (866) 657-6642.
- 4Alternatively, customers can submit their questions or feedback via the contact form on the Sonic Drive-In website.
When You Can Get a Refund
- Order must have been placed via the SONIC App with a scheduled pick-up time for self-cancellation.
- Cancellation for app orders with a scheduled pick-up time must occur at least five minutes before the selected pick-up time.
- For orders where the food has already been made or sent to the kitchen (e.g., immediate orders), cancellation or refund is generally not possible.
- Sonic gift cards are generally not eligible for refunds, except as required by applicable law.
Additional Notes
- The transaction for the purchase of products or services is considered final and complete at the time of charge.
- Gift cards that are lost, stolen, or destroyed, if registered, may be replaced for the remaining value (less applicable replacement costs) by calling 1-866-OK SONIC (657-6642).
- Rewards from loyalty programs cannot be exchanged for cash or combined with other discounts or coupons.
- Sonic reserves the right to terminate or change programs and terms at any time without notice.
