How to Cancel — Step by Step
- 1Log in to your Hootsuite account.
- 2Go to 'Account', then select 'Plan and billing'.
- 3Expand the 'Manage my subscription' section.
- 4Select 'Cancel subscription' and follow the prompts to confirm your cancellation.
Billed Through a Third Party?
- If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, you must cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account at least 24 hours before the next billing date.
- For subscriptions made via the Google Play Store, deleting your Hootsuite account from the Android app will automatically cancel your mobile payment subscription.
Reactivating Your Account
- After cancelling, your subscription remains active until the end of your paid or trial period.
- Hootsuite will save your account information and data, allowing you to restart your subscription at any time.
Additional Notes
- If you are part of a Hootsuite organization, only a Super Admin can cancel the subscription.
- Deleting your account is immediate and permanent, and your data cannot be recovered. It is recommended to cancel your subscription instead of deleting your account.
- Annual subscriptions are a one-year commitment and are non-refundable.
